Our Club...

If you enjoy tramping, our Club offers a wide range of activities for all ages and experience:
  • Day and weekend tramps
  • Instruction
  • General outdoor interest trips
  • Opportunities to assist in track work and clean up programmes

If you enjoy recreational off-road cycling:
          • We have a growing interest from Club members, with an active group starting to get out and explore more trails
          • The Rotorua/Bay of Plenty and Central Plateau areas offer some of the best off-road  riding in the country
If you enjoy skiing, Club activities are centred around the Ski Lodge (Phone no. 07 892 3876) located on Mt Ruapehu, just 7 minutes walk from the Top of the Bruce. Facilities include:

  • 32 bunks divided into rooms of four or five
  • ski storage in the basement
  • a drying room for boots and ski gear

The club also owns two 8-bed chalets at Kirk St, National Park which are available to members throughout the year. These are self-catering, but contain a fully-equipped kitchen.
Club nights are the second Monday of the month, February - November, upstairs at the Rotorua Lakes Watersports Trust Building (on the lake front at Ohinemutu), 7.30pm sharp.
